Our take on the Caprese Salad to elevate your Mediterranean San Valentino Feast.

The perfect summer appetizer. It is simple, refreshing & ohhhh so cute. The classic combination of fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes & fragrant basil makes for a delicious and satisfying dish.

What you need

• A firm tomato (we used vine)

• Buffalo mozzarella (available in store)

• Fresh basil

• Olive Oil (a good quality oil)

• Cracked pepper.

• Heart shape cookie cutter

Method

• Slice tomatoes thinly and arrange on plate.

• Add a fresh basil leaf on top of each tomato.

• Slice you buffalo mozzarella.

• Cut a heart shape from each piece and place on top of your basil & tomato.

• drizzle with your oil.

• top with cracked pepper.
